Mahmoud Abbas’s advisor praises King Mohammed VI’s support for the Palestinian cause

Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, met today, Thursday, with the advisor to Palestinian President Mahmoud El Habach, in a session focused on the Palestinian cause and the unwavering support of King Mohammed VI for this conflict. During a press conference held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, El Habach emphasized that the discussions centered on Morocco’s firm commitment to Palestine, an issue that the King considers one of his main priorities.

The advisor to Abbas highlighted the essential work of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which tirelessly works to defend the cause of Jerusalem. According to El Habach, this committee operates in the religious, political, and humanitarian fields, especially through the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency. This organization carries out humanitarian aid programs in Jerusalem and Palestinian territories, providing assistance in times of great need.

The current situation in Palestine was also discussed during the meeting, particularly the continued Israeli aggression. El Habach stressed the importance of Arab and international efforts to end the Israeli occupation, always based on international legality. According to the advisor, a just and lasting peace remains the ultimate goal, and measures must be taken to ensure a future of dignity and sovereignty for Palestine.

Additionally, El Habach conveyed the warm greetings of President Mahmoud Abbas to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, expressing the deep gratitude of the Palestinian people for Morocco’s constant support. President Abbas, along with his people, expressed their pride in King Mohammed VI’s courageous and supportive positions, highlighting the fraternity and exceptional relations between the two countries and their peoples.

This meeting once again underscores the importance of Morocco’s support for the Palestinian cause, which remains a priority in the Kingdom’s foreign policy, reaffirming its commitment to peace and justice in the region.
