The General Directorate of National Security Strengthens Its Support for Employees and Their Families

On December 30, 2024, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) published a report on the social assistance provided to its employees and their families. This report highlights the ongoing efforts of the DGSN to support its agents, both active and retired, by offering them financial and material aid. In 2024, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Employees granted subsidies to 1610 members, victims of serious accidents or debilitating illnesses. These aids were processed urgently, demonstrating the institution’s commitment to the well-being of its members.

In parallel, the DGSN also established direct support for 4351 widows and 601 retirees receiving modest pensions. During religious holidays, vouchers and financial assistance were distributed to alleviate the financial burden on these families. Additionally, an exceptional aid of 20,000 dirhams was granted to 371 employees suffering from serious illnesses to help them cover the high costs of their medical care. These initiatives illustrate the DGSN’s ongoing concern for the social and economic well-being of its members.

On a spiritual level, 2024 saw an expansion of beneficiaries for the pilgrimage program. A total of 365 members of the National Security family had their pilgrimage expenses covered, of which 230 received full coverage. This represents an increase compared to the previous year, when 127 beneficiaries were supported. This initiative strengthens the spiritual and cultural bond among the agents of National Security.

Furthermore, the DGSN organized summer camps for 3582 children and orphans, distributed over several sessions at seaside resorts in Morocco. For the first time, 57 families of martyrs also had access to free summer camps, illustrating the Foundation’s commitment to supporting the families of those who have bravely served the country. Additionally, the construction of a summer resort in Martil is underway, providing a recreational space for the families of National Security.

Regarding educational support, the DGSN organized the second edition of the excellence ceremony, rewarding the children and orphans of police employees who achieved excellent academic results. Twelve students received scholarships of 10,000 dirhams per year for five years, with the goal of expanding this program to 60 beneficiaries per year in the near future. Agreements were also signed with several academic institutions to facilitate access to education for the children of agents.

Finally, the DGSN launched a digital platform “www.fmsn.gov.ma” to inform its members about the services offered, thereby strengthening institutional communication. In parallel, the health services inspection implemented an action plan, “Health 2026,” aimed at improving medical services for employees. In 2024, the DGSN recorded more than 172,478 medical consultations, covering various health fields, and organized blood donation campaigns involving 8502 agents. These efforts reflect the DGSN’s commitment to promoting the health and well-being of its employees.
