Moroccan Armed Forces take part in Côte d’Ivoire’s 65th Independence Anniversary

On the high instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), a Moroccan military detachment took part on Thursday in the celebrations marking the 65th anniversary of Côte d’Ivoire’s independence. This participation followed an official invitation extended to the Kingdom by Ivorian authorities.
The FAR detachment, from the First Parachute Infantry Brigade, joined the military parade held in Bouaké, alongside the Ivorian Armed Forces. This symbolic presence highlights the strength of military cooperation between the two nations and their shared commitment to deepening ties in this strategic field.
Beyond protocol, the participation of the FAR reflects the excellence of the relations of friendship and brotherhood uniting Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire. It also testifies to the mutual trust and respect that characterize their collaboration in defense, training, and security matters.
True to its African policy of solidarity, Morocco reaffirms its commitment to supporting its continental partners. By taking part in such commemorative events, the Kingdom demonstrates its willingness to share in the important moments of its African allies while reinforcing its role as a reliable and engaged partner for regional stability.
