Renewal of the Mandate of Mr. Hammouchi, on the Supreme Council of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences

The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Mr. Abdellatif Hammouchi, participates for the second time in the 51st annual session of the Supreme Council of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, held from November 2 to 4, 2025. This participation reflects Morocco’s continued commitment to the academic and scientific activities of this key institution for the training and development of security forces across the Arab world.

On this occasion, Mr. Hammouchi also attended the official graduation ceremony of the 43rd cohort of University students, highlighting the institution’s role as the scientific and educational arm of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers. The event underscores the importance of academic and practical training for future security leaders in the region.

According to the statement issued by the National Security and Territorial Surveillance Directorate, Mr. Hammouchi’s participation as a member of the Higher Council reflects Morocco’s commitment to contributing to the university’s general policy and overseeing its scientific, administrative, and financial affairs. During this session, his re-election for a second term on the Higher Council was formalized, enabling him to continue efforts to modernize and enhance training and research programs in security and police sciences.

Furthermore, members of the Higher Council, under the chairmanship of His Royal Supreme Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reviewed the implementation mechanisms of the university’s strategy for the 2025–2029 period. This strategy aims to diversify educational programs and research activities while anticipating future challenges in the development of academic security and police education.

In parallel with the decision-making activities, Mr. Hammouchi participated in the graduation ceremony of the 43rd cohort, which included 374 students from 11 Arab countries, across various police, legal, and technical disciplines. The ceremony was presided over by the Saudi Minister of Interior, highlighting the regional impact of Naif Arab University and Morocco’s strategic role in promoting training and cooperation in security across the Arab world.
