The operation was conducted under the authority of the Spanish judiciary, highlighting the joint commitment to combating transnational terrorism.

According to the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, the investigation identified a suspect linked to Daesh’s digital propaganda. He is believed to have actively contributed to the dissemination of content inciting violence through decentralized platforms, reinforcing extremist ideology.

Initial findings revealed that the individual regularly consumed highly violent extremist material. His advanced level of radicalization posed a serious threat to public security, prompting an immediate intervention by the authorities.

A search of his residence led to the seizure of various digital elements and suspicious documents. After a preliminary examination of the evidence, the Spanish judiciary ordered his pre-trial detention while further investigations determine his potential links to other networks.
