The DGSN strengthens its services and makes new appointments in several cities

The General Directorate of National Security has announced the creation of new security services in the cities of Sefrou and Taza, aimed at strengthening police infrastructure and bringing security services closer to citizens. This initiative is part of a broader plan to modernize and develop security infrastructure while improving public reception conditions and the efficiency of employees.
According to a statement from the Directorate, this step includes the creation of a service dedicated to road accidents in the city of Sefrou, as well as another service for road accidents and a mobile mounted police unit in the city of Taza. These additions are part of a continuous strategy to develop the security apparatus for better citizen service.
In a parallel context, the Director General of the DGST/DGSN sector, Abdelatif Hammouchi, signed a series of new appointments to various positions of responsibility in several cities across the country. Among these appointments, seven positions were assigned within the security services of Taza, Agadir, Dakhla, Salé, and Tangier.
These appointments include a new head for the road accident service in Taza, a police district chief in Tangier, and a head for the tourism police team in Salé. Other appointments involved the head of the criminal brigade and the head of the anti-gang brigade in Dakhla, as well as the chief and deputy chief of the mobile unit for public order in Agadir.
